Heads up...this lesson went ok, but a problem I ran into was my students lack of background knowledge on immigration policy (probably should have figured this). If you go to the page on Don’t ask, don’t tell, there are a few re-teaching slides there about recent immigration policy. Hope this helps. Also could recommend playing with the order a bit. In one class I did the citizenship test first to increase engagement.
